ACMI

refers to an arrangement where the lessor agrees to provide an Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance and Insurance (ACMI) to the lessee. In return for payment based on the number of block hours operated. 

Wet Lease

A wet lease is a leasing arrangement similar to ACMI where the lessor provides additional aircraft and related services to another lessee which pays for hours operated including fuel, airports fees, other duties, taxes, etc.

Dry Lease

A dry lease involves leasing a primary aircraft without insurance, crew, maintenance, etc. The lessee is responsible for putting the aircraft on their own AOC and providing aircraft registration. Typically, a dry lease lasts two years or longer and includes specific depreciation, maintenance, and insurance conditions.

Damp Lease

A damp lease is a leasing arrangement defined as a wet lease that includes a cockpit crew but the lessor is responsible for cabin attendants.
